You gyus are having a great adventure. We flew to Anchorage four years ago and stayed the night in Palmer. Then to Haines, Alaska and took the ferry to Skagway and Whitehorse and Dawson. Really great places. Took the Top of the World Highway back to Anchorage. Denali is great. It was on the travel channel yesterday. We were there in 1993. There is also a musk ox farm just outside of Anchorage. Very interesting. If you have time, go to the Portage Glacier about 30-40 miles south of Anchorage. You can also go throught the mountains on the tgrain and take a day cruise for a salmon feast and see the glaciers. We love Alaska. Enjoy. Joe and Sharron.
